An opportunity has arisen in our Bettys Finance Team and we are looking for a Finance Analyst to join us at Bettys Bakery, based on Starbeck, Harrogate where we where we support all areas of Bettys including Branches, Cookery School, Craft Bakery and Support functions.
This is a part-time role working 3- 4 days per week (around 22.5 - 30 hours), with some days in the office each week. If you would like to discuss flexible working please provide more details in your application.
As a Finance Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the production of robust 24-month rolling forecast and analysis as part of the roll-out of IBP (Integrated Business Planning) within Bettys. The role will also provide clear insight and support recommendations into the business to drive effective decision making.
Key responsibilities in the role include; influencing the forecast decisions and business partnering on risks, opportunities, and mitigations; developing and maintaining reports and tools to support KPIs and financial reporting and supporting with forecasting improvement through process and systems development. There will also be opportunities to provide insightful financial information and analysis of performance to the budget holders and the wider business where applicable. About you - We are looking for candidates to have the following qulifications, skills and experience:
* Part qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Experience in IFS and Power BI (Desirable).
* Strong communication (cross-functional and across varying levels of financial awareness).
* Excellent numerical reasoning.
* Ability to analyse large amounts of data and information and communicate this to assist decision making.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Curiosity and desire to make improvements.
