Capita Pension Solutions Ltd’s (CPSL) purpose is to work as one team creating better outcomes for members today, tomorrow, and when they need us. CPSL is an FCA Regulated Pensions business responsible for the delivery of core pensions administration and consulting services to over 400 clients and 6m pension scheme members.
As a core member of the Capita Pension Solutions Leadership Team, this role will be instrumental in ensuring that we deliver on our key client promises today whilst also helping to drive our wider Pensions strategy. All whilst being mindful of our FCA Regulation and framework and the Pensions Regulator (as regulator of our pension scheme clients).
The Pensions Delivery COO will be responsible for delighting our Pensions clients and members through engaging our delivery teams, delivering operational excellence, driving Capita’s gross margin, and delivering what we have contracted with our clients.
The core objective for the Pensions Delivery COO is to deliver all client’s KPIs through strong leadership, effective planning and resource optimisation leading to a gross margin which can be maximised. The leader will have direct responsibility for all operational staff delivering services into clients in CPSL.
Job Description:
Key Deliverables:
* Develop and execute the operations transformation agenda required to deliver on the strategic agenda of the CPSL.
* Lead operational performance reviews specifically in operational delivery activity focused on “Best in Class” delivery and operational excellence.
* Effectively manage Statement of Works through their contract life cycles meeting all contractual obligations, working closely with the CPSL MD within their Master Service Agreement with the client.
* Responsible for managing regulated service delivery alongside non-regulated.
* Leading their management team.
* Supporting CPSL MD with QBR, reporting performance.
* Develop a meaningful and tailored set of Employee Value Propositions (EVPs) that ensure our solutions can delight our clients and engage our people.
* Develop a leadership team that can support clients and hold the day to day client relationships.
* Effective management of enterprise risks and compliance with corporate policies, area specific legislation, pricing and litigation regulations.
* Accountable for driving a collaborative culture in line with our values.
* Nurture talent and provide development opportunities that maximise diversity of thought and opportunity.
Person Specification:
* Proven experience of carrying out a similar role across a similar scope and scale.
* Experience of multi-function delivery.
* Experience of running a gross margin P&L of a similar scale.
* Leadership experience of leading significantly large delivery teams.
* Uses a mixture of analysis and judgement to make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information, to drive the CPSL overall vision and purpose.
