Agratas is seeking a Process Engineer to support our cutting-edge Li-ion battery cell prototype line. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with R&D and production teams to develop, optimise, and characterise anode and cathode electrode processes including slurry mixing, coating, and calendaring. This is your chance to be at the forefront of innovation in the battery industry, contributing directly to the development of sustainable and high-performance energy storage solutions. Electrode Process Development: Assist in the development and optimisation of slurry preparation, coating, and calendaring processes to improve electrode quality and throughput. Characterisation & Analysis: Develop and apply methods for analysing slurries and coatings. Use process and quality data to identify improvements in fabrication techniques. Hands-On Equipment Operation: Operate lab and pilot-scale equipment such as mixers, coaters, and calendaring machines. Utilise analytical tools to assess slurry and electrode quality. Process Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experimental setups, procedures, and results. Support the creation of work instructions, SOPs, and control plans. Training & Collaboration: Train lab technicians in process methods. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment. Lab Organisation & Safety: Ensure lab areas are kept clean, well-organised, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
