Process Engineer
to support our cutting-edge
Li-ion battery cell prototype line
. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with R&D and production teams to develop, optimise, and characterise anode and cathode electrode processes including
slurry mixing, coating, and calendaring
.
This is your chance to be at the forefront of innovation in the battery industry, contributing directly to the development of sustainable and high-performance energy storage solutions.
* Electrode Process Development: Assist in the development and optimisation of slurry preparation, coating, and calendaring processes to improve electrode quality and throughput.
* Characterisation & Analysis: Develop and apply methods for analysing slurries and coatings. Use process and quality data to identify improvements in fabrication techniques.
* Hands-On Equipment Operation: Operate lab and pilot-scale equipment such as mixers, coaters, and calendaring machines. Utilise analytical tools to assess slurry and electrode quality.
* Process Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experimental setups, procedures, and results. Support the creation of work instructions, SOPs, and control plans.
* Training & Collaboration: Train lab technicians in process methods. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
* Lab Organisation & Safety: Ensure lab areas are kept clean, well-organised, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
