Are you looking for a first step into the world of admin? Then this may be the role for you!

An exciting opportunity has arisen at AD Construction for an Apprentice Office Administrator. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the office, providing support to the entire business, and being the first port of call for incoming calls and clients.

Main Duties:

* Answering incoming calls, screening and redirecting as appropriate, taking and forwarding messages
* General administrative duties, including data entry, drafting correspondence and answering incoming calls
* Maintain accurate records particularly in respect of priced contract specification
* Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices and contractual documentation
* Prepare health and safety files and other site documentation
* Prepare survey documentation for client reviews, adding up measurements, organizing job folders and preparing spreadsheets

Personal Skills/Entry Requirements:

* Level 4/C in Maths and English GCSE
* Organizational and planning skills
* Basic IT knowledge
* Good timekeeping
* Good IT knowledge, specifically Microsoft Packages
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Good numerical skills

Package:

* Salary - £13,312
* Hours - Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (1 hr for lunch)
* Holidays + bank holidays and Christmas closure
* Enrolment onto a Business Administration course

Additional Information:

* As part of the interview process, you will be required to complete an aptitude test
* Nine-month probationary period
* Eligible to work in the UK
