We are currently recruiting for a full time Bartender/F&B Assistant at Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
Nutfield Priory, our award-winning country house hotel and spa, is regarded as one of the best hotels in Redhill, Surrey. With elegant décor, spacious rooms, a relaxing spa and many modern amenities, our boutique country house hotel in Surrey is an oasis of tranquillity.
Responsibilities
* The role of a Bartender involves assisting the team in ensuring delivery of the bar operations to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high standards of presentation are always maintained.
* Responsible for preparing, creating and serving a variety of bar snacks and beverages. Always seeking opportunities for creativity and upselling.
* Maintain good knowledge of food and drink menu items and their availability across all areas including the bar and restaurant.
* Work within both the bar and restaurant when required.
* Contribute to departmental goals, share ideas and be open to trying new ways of working. Take personal ownership, operating within role parameters.
* Communicate and delegate in line with business levels and events within the hotel.
* Be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of the Hand Picked Team.
About You
* Previous bartending experience within a quality driven environment.
* Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities. Flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
* High level of emotional intelligence to anticipate guests needs and deliver a Hand Picked experience.
* Ability to deliver guest experience standards at Hand Picked Hotels, going above and beyond to ensure guests have a high-quality, personalised and memorable experience.
