Treasury Manager– Risk and Projects
£75,000 to£80,000dependent on skills and experience

The Treasury team manages circa£8.5bn of debt, as well as significant cash balances including those in the capex account holding proceeds of unallocated Sustainability Bonds and Sustainability loans.
The Treasury Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the Treasury team through transformation and ensuring that new risks are correctly assessed and managed in compliance with Treasury policy and covenants.
Key responsibilities
1. Development of the Treasury Management System and other Treasury solutions to improve efficiency,maintaincontrol, and enable better visibility and accuracy of treasury transactions.
2. Lead the scoping process for a new Treasury Management System
3. Lead theday-to-dayrelationship with the relevant Account Bank to ensure delivery oftheappropriate operationalservice, ensuring their formalities are met
4. Manage the effective and efficient running of the Treasury team ensuring all treasury, pensions,energyand banking transactions are processed efficiently
5. Coordinating the Treasury team and advisors and overseeing all treasury transactions undertaken
6. Lead the implementation and the delivery of the Bottomline replacement project,maintainingcontrols on costs for resources involved, coordinating the internal and external stakeholders and support the Project Manager assigned to the project
7. Develop,implementand manage the necessary frameworks and protocols across treasury and commercial operations
8. Providestrategic advice onappropriate riskmanagement practices in relation to exposures to Foreign Exchange and Commodity prices across the AMP8Totexprogramme

What does it take to be successful?
18. Technical skills in financial accounting; experience within a finance / treasury function
19. In depth knowledge of treasury management systems and payment systems as well asstrong systemaptitude
20. Experience of managing debt portfolios and banking relationships
21. Proven ability to react quickly to complex situations, with the ability to problem solve, assimilate, understand, and challenge, and then to resolve appropriately
22. Strong interpersonal, communication and IT skills
23. Able to think on your feet, and providesupervision,directionand encouragement to Treasury Team members
24. Respond effectively to changing priorities and deadlines
25. Flexible, resistant, team player, who is proactive and results orientated
