Seasonal Gardeners
Manpower is looking for experienced seasonal Gardeners to work across spring and summer busy periods for a client based in Oxford.
Details:
1. Temporary full time work
2. £12.49 per hour depending one experience
3. Oxford City Centre based
4. Must have experience
5. Working hours : Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:00, Friday 07:30 - 12:00
Responsibilities:
6. Duties may include some of the following:
7. General ground maintenance including sweeping and litter removal, mechanical and chemical weed control, ground clearance, manual and mechanical ground cultivation, chipping, shredding, and mulching.
8. Pruning of shrubs, climbers and small trees.
9. Border maintenance - cutting back, lifting, and dividing of perennial plants. Planting new material, staking, tying-in, dead-heading and watering.
10. Turf maintenance - mowing using various types of machinery including pedestrian, cylinder and ride-on mowers, spiking, topdressing, over-seeding, turf lifting and laying, fertilising, weedkilling, strimming, and edging.
11. Hedge maintenance - planting, pruning and cutting.
12. Driving and routine maintenance of tractors and attachments. Carrying out daily and weekly cleaning and lubrication of machinery as required.
13. Landscape work - under supervision.
14. Nursery work - under supervision.
15. Other duties as may be specified from time to time by Supervisory staff
16. Using mobile device to record hours worked at sites, full training and device will be provided
