CAD Designer (Joinery / Furniture)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + training + progression. Location: Harpenden.
Would you be a CAD Designer with a joinery, furniture background or similar, looking to join a leading bespoke furniture maker? This company specialises in the manufacture of bespoke high‑end commercial fit‑outs.
In this role you will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and manufacturing information for high‑end bespoke furniture and joinery projects. You will ensure designs are translated accurately from concept through to production and installation, managing multiple projects while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and quality.
The Role
* Produce detailed technical and manufacturing drawings for bespoke furniture and joinery.
* Conduct site surveys.
* Collaborate with Project Managers, workshop teams, and installers to ensure successful project delivery.
* Manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and quality.
* Use CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks to translate creative concepts into accurate, buildable technical solutions.
The Person
* CAD Designer with a background in furniture design.
* Experience using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
* Commutable to Harpenden.
* Passion for bespoke joinery, furniture design, and high‑end interiors.
* Ability to transform creative concepts into accurate, buildable technical solutions.
* Take pride in seeing projects progress from design through to installation.
