Your new role
This role involves supporting a laptop refresh project by moving devices between storage and refresh areas, collecting old equipment, and issuing new devices to users according to the migration schedule.
1. Move devices between on-site storage and the refresh clinic as instructed.
2. Refresh laptops and assist with device setup under engineer guidance.
3. Collect old devices from users and hand over new ones according to the migration schedule.
4. Update workflow management systems accurately at each step.
5. Report and escalate migration issues promptly to the site team.
6. Perform daily manual stock checks and report findings.
7. Package and label collected devices for disposal or refurbishment.
8. Secure all devices and equipment in storage at the end of each day.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Active SC Clearance
10. Previous experience in IT support
11. Basic IT knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
12. Strong customer service andmunication skills.
13. Highly organised with a proactive, can-do attitude.
