About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and confident HLTA to join a weing primary school in Barnsley. This is a long-term opportunity to work with Class 5 (Y5/6 mixed cohort), supporting pupils in their learning journey and contributing to the wider schoolmunity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead booster groups to support targeted learning and progress.
2. Provide in-class support alongside the teacher.
3. Deliver lessons using provided planning for several afternoons each week.
4. Step in confidently to teach UKS2 content at short notice, ensuring continuity of learning.
What We’re Looking For
5. A qualified HLTA with experience in upper KS2.
6. Someone with strong classroom presence and the ability to adapt quickly.
7. A professional who can balance small group interventions with whole-class teaching.
