We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants for a NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER for our service based in Castleford,WF10,West Yorkshire area
1. FULL-TIME,42 HOURS PER WEEK
2. Have the right to work without sponsorship in the next 12 months
3. Experience required at least 6 months as healthcare assistant or Support worker in a care home or supported living location.
4. Positive, with a can-do attitude
5. Caring and empathetic
6. Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
7. Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
8. Able to work flexibly shifts.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
9. Relevant experience within the mental health or care sector
10. An understanding of mental health crisis
11. Good computer skills, Email word Excel
12. Knowledge of a Psychological Informed Environment Preferable, although training will be provided
13. Ability to engage in 1-2-1 and group conversations
14. Experience of using de-escalation methods
15. Proficient in English, both written and verbal
16. Ability to drive is desirable. Sometimes we need someone to drive a resident to his appointments.
17. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
18. Experience in home care is advantageous
