Our client is a successful 500-sow breeder-finisher unit in the heart of North Yorkshire, seeking an experienced and dependable stockperson to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage dry sow housing with excellent welfare, feeding, and health monitoring.
* Support farrowing house operations.
* General unit duties: vaccination, record-keeping, cleaning, and maintenance to keep our productive herd thriving.
* Work collaboratively in a supportive environment with plenty of variety.
About You:
* Experience with dry sows and supporting farrowing preferred.
* Training can be provided.
* Practical pig husbandry skills.
* Reliable, proactive, and animal-focused with a can-do attitude.
* Full UK driving licence; own transport helpful but not essential.
