About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth within our expanding CRO. You will manage the full sales cycle – from prospecting and lead generation through to proposals, – engaging with biotech, medtech, academic and NHS partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage a pipeline of CRO opportunities.
* Lead the end-to-end sales process (RFPs, contracts, negotiations).
* Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
* Work closely with the CEO and operations team on strategy.
* Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting via CRM.
About You
* At least 2 years’ proven success in CRO sales with strong results.
* Hunter mentality – proactive, resilient, target-driven.
* Organised and detail-oriented, with disciplined follow-up.
* Skilled communicator, comfortable influencing at all levels.
