Join our team as an Industrial Placement Student in Marketing (multiple roles)
Are you a curious and driven student eager to make a real impact in the world of marketing? At 3M, we're looking for an enthusiastic Industrial Placement Student to join our dynamic marketing team. This is your chance to collaborate with industry experts and gain invaluable experience in a global company renowned for innovation and excellence.
What You'll Do:
1. Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities. Coordinate logistics and provide on-site support during events.
2. Brand Building: Help ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials. Support initiatives to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
3. Program Activation: Support the successful launch and activation of growth and marketing programs. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
4. Product Launches: Support the implementation of product launches across various channels.
5. Content Collaboration: Help create marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and social media content. Support the development of digital content for websites and online campaigns.
6. Market Research: Conduct research to gather data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis. Assist in analysing data to identify potential growth opportunities.
7. Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as managing databases, and processing purchase orders. Maintain and organize marketing assets and documentation.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to marketing strategies.

Your Qualifications:
9. Received a minimum of 128 UCAS points in your ‘A’ Levels or equivalent qualifications
10. Currently in the 2nd year of your 4-year business-related degree programme.
11. On track to receive a minimum 2:1 in your degree
12. Fluent in English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
13. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
14. Comfortable prioritising tasks and working to deadlines.
15. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act autonomously.
16. Must be adaptable and hard working with a passion for learning.
17. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and emails efficiently.

18. Salary £25,000
19. Flexible working – 4 days in the office and 1 day at home per week with flexibility during the working day.
20. 25 days holiday per annum, plus Bank Holidays
