Anns Home Care is recruiting a full-time, as-and-when Team Leader to join our busy Home Care Team in Belfast. The successful candidate will work as part of a team responsible for providing high-quality services to clients in their own homes by monitoring the quality of care. Flexibility to work unsociable hours if required is essential.

Our Care Assistants are at the heart of our operations, delivering frontline care to those in need. Working in the community, our Care Assistants provide support to elderly and vulnerable individuals who face difficulties with daily activities, helping them live as independently as possible.

Key Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare
2. NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent
3. Access to a car and a full driving license
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
7. Empathy and understanding towards clients and their families
8. Leadership, support, and supervision skills for team management
Key Tasks and Duties:
1. Maintain high standards of care, professionalism, and presentation through personal example
2. Participate in and supervise the delivery of care to meet clients' physical, social, intellectual, and emotional needs while respecting their dignity, choice, and independence
3. Promote best practices and accountability via spot checks and staff supervisions
4. Monitor the quality of care provided to clients
5. Prepare, implement, review, and update client care plans
6. Maintain confidentiality at all times
7. Uphold professional standards among carers and promote company values
8. Keep accurate, confidential records in accordance with company policy
9. Conduct risk assessments in clients' homes annually and as needed
10. Assist in implementing new care packages, ensuring timely placement and staff introduction
11. Support in the induction and training of new care workers
12. Provide reports on complaints, accidents, and incidents
13. Assist in rota management and support scheduling activities
14. Participate in the company's Quality Control program
15. Undertake shift cover activities as required
