Part Time Risk Assessment & Method Statement Assistant - 2 Days Per Week

The Risk Assessment and Method Statement Assistant role is critical in supporting the Health & Safety team with the creation of RAMS alongside other ad hoc administrative tasks and document generation. You would be required to competently liaise with teams across the business to ensure that RAMS are compliant and produced in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate would have experience of writing RAMS in a manufacturing or fabrication-based environment. Knowledge of shop fitting, experience with working at height, carpentry, metal work, and exhibitions and events would be beneficial. You would be able to interpret technical drawings in order to prepare RAMS that will be used for installation of windows, pop ups and other fixtures in prestigious retail environments.
You will work closely with the Health & Safety Supervisor, Fabrication & Design and Install teams to ensure installations and removals are conducted safely and in line with current legislation. A good communicator who strives for accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
CORE KNOWLEDGE BASE
· Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety practices and creating RAMS in a manufacturing or fabrication-based environment.
· Ability to adhere to KPI’s and keep up to date with current legislation.
· An excellent communicator who is approachable and confident.
· Knowledge of fabrication processes and materials.
· Confidence in using IT systems and applications. Experience of using Monday and RAMS generation software would be advantageous.
· IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) qualification is desirable.

MAIN DUTIES:
· Writing RAMS that will be used for installation and removal, and for operational purposes.
· Liaising with the Health & Safety, Fabrication & Design and Installation teams to gather the required information and sharing
· Attend the weekly Fabrication meeting to be aware of upcoming projects
