Job Title: Skilled Production Technician
The Recruitment Co is seeking two Skilled Production Technicians to join our food production client, a renowned food business known for its flavor and strong brands. The company values its people and is dedicated to creating a great workplace for growth and development.

Food Production experience is essential.
Positions and Shifts
There are two permanent positions available, with shifts:
1. 4 on 4 off – 6pm-6am (Nights)
2. Monday to Friday – 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm
Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with the team to follow and improve Health & Safety procedures.
* Prepare products according to operational standards.
* Supervise supporting operatives, ensuring high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
* Maintain accurate process documentation, monitor performance, and report issues to engineers or Team Leaders.
* Conduct first-line investigations into issues, using judgment and initiative to maintain quality.
* Provide operational cover as needed.
Preferred Skills and Qualities
* Flexibility to meet business requirements.
* Organized, conscientious, and confident in operating machinery.
* Ability to handle responsibility, remaining calm under pressure.
* Basic food hygiene training.
* Understanding of all Critical Control Points (CCPs) for the line.
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with accuracy in paperwork and calculations.
* Good communication skills for working with operatives and team leaders.
* Excellent awareness of Health and Safety.
* Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance.
