Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Referral & Assessment Team in Wokingham, offering a competitive rate of £42 per hour on an Umbrella basis. This role is ideal for a passionate professional looking to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families. You will play a pivotal role in assessing needs, providing support, and ensuring that the highest standards of social care are met.
Responsibilities
* Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support.
* Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual circumstances.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
* Providing supervision and support to junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and development.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and procedural requirements.
Qualifications
* A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
* Current registration with Social Work England.
* Significant experience in child protection, safeguarding, and assessment processes.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
* Proficiency in using case management systems and maintaining detailed documentation.
