Project Manager (New Recycling Containers) - temporary contract for a period of 2 years
(with the possibility of further extension)
We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver a significant change to our recycling collection services, helping reduce the cost of the service. This change will affect every household in the district. The job involves managing the project delivery from initial strategic planning, through to feasibility, detailed design and then into implementation and handover to business as usual. Keeping the project on track and within timescales and budget is vital to the success of this high-profile project.
In addition to holding a recognised project management qualification, you will need effective influencing and negation skills, be able to effectively support the project team members and be able to quickly build and maintain rapport with people at all levels. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and inter-personal skills to manage, support, and motivate partners to achieve corporate and project goals. A good working knowledge and understanding of project management, such as Prince 2 or APM is essential.
• 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £36,124 - £39,513 per annum (pay award pending)
