Lancaster University are looking for a passionate, experienced and proactive Financial Accountant to join our Financial Operations and Compliance team.

The role will support the Financial Operations and Compliance team in a portfolio of financial accounting and compliance activities including statutory reporting, tax compliance and management reporting. The role will also involve liaison with the internal and external auditors on relevant areas of their portfolio.
As a member of the Financial Operations and Compliance team, you will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills looking to support efficient and effective business processes, with a focus on customer service. You are likely to be an exam passed finalist and working towards a professional accountancy body membership (ACCA/ACA or CCAB).
Applicants must meet all the essential criteria on the Person Specification to be considered for interview. This is a secondment or fixed term opportunity with hybrid working options. The role will be based within the Finance Division at Lancaster University’s Bailrigg Campus.
