Our client is seeking Nurses, OTs, Physiotherapists to join their organization in Romford.
Day to Day
You will assess up to six customers per day, taking clinical observations and questioning, then creating a written report to pass on to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), which will use this information to decide on support for the customer. Your report will be part of that decision. The assessment focuses on Work Capability.
Training
Customers will have multiple clinical issues; you will receive industry-leading training provided by our client's experienced clinical tutors. This training will equip you with the skills to support customers and transfer your current medical skills to the role's requirements.
Full training lasts approximately six months, during which you will be paid. This role will maintain your registration with the NMC or HCPC, and you will receive revalidation support to keep your registration active.
Development
After completing training, your development continues with ongoing CPD, offering over 100 hours of protected CPD annually, support with revalidation, and opportunities to advance your career within the organization. You will be assigned a clinical supervisor and can pursue a Diploma in Disability Assessment Medicine accredited by the FOM.
Your Requirements
Applicants should be Nurses, OTs, or Physiotherapists primarily working in inpatient roles with diverse clinical conditions. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. Computer and IT skills are advantageous, including the ability to type at 30 words per minute. The role demands clinicians who are highly literate, detail-oriented, and possess adaptable communication skills.
