This role presents an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, finance-minded individual to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and collaborative finance team. You will be based at our Carlisle Head Office, Rosehill on a fixed term 12 month contract.

The Job

As Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for supporting business units from a finance perspective. This will include the production of weekly and monthly KPIs, interrogation of overheads as well as sales and margin analysis.

Assist with the production of weekly and monthly KPI reports in a timely manner to support senior managers with their decision making

Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary to explain key drivers of performance against budget and prior year within sales, margin, overheads and stock

Adopt an ethos of continuous improvement across all areas of business partnering, proactively identifying areas of improvement and developing suitable actions to address these

Act as a key partner between finance and non-finance teams within the business units, translating financial data into actionable insights

Provide ad-hoc analysis to support business cases, capital expenditure requests and performance reviews

Any other task associated with the efficient technical support of a Workshop.

Essential

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED

Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)

Previous experience within a finance function

Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products

Experience of using accounting software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to clearly explain complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders at all levels

Flexible approach with ability to multitask and effectively prioritise workload

A positive attitude towards improvement and change

Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail

Desirable

Worked in the agricultural sector previously

Used Microsoft D365 previously
