Pay Rate: £27.83 per hour
Contract: Full-time
Location: Northampton (1 day per week in office Thursdays)
Travel: 45p per mile (travel allowance paid)
Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly motivated Principal Lawyer to join a dynamic legal team based in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior legal professional looking for a flexible, hybrid role with a strong balance of remote and office-based work.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-level legal advice and support across a broad range of matters
* Lead on complex casework and legal projects
* Manage and supervise junior legal staff where required
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
* Represent the organisation in legal proceedings and negotiations
* Contribute to strategic decision-making and policy development
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Executive
* Significant experience operating at a senior legal level
* Strong knowledge of relevant areas xxuwjjq of law (public sector experience desirable)
* Proven ability to manage complex caseloads independently
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Working Arrangements
* Hybrid working model: 1 day per week in the Northampton office (Thursday)
* Remaining days remote
* Travel expenses paid at 45p per mile
