A Fantastic Opportunity: Project Initiation Coordinator
The Project Initiation Coordinator will set the foundation for our customer projects following acceptance and handover to the delivery team. Working closely with internal and external teams, you will be managing requests for information from the customer or their representatives.
You will act as point of contact during the initiation phase; arranging and chairing customer calls, accepting and actioning requests for information, arranging point of connection surveys and updating the Project Management Plan.
You will be working with the Programme Manager, Project Manager’s and Engineers within the team to ensure a smooth customer journey, in line with our internal and regulatory obligations.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that all relevant documentation, systems, reporting and communication is accurate, timely and to a high standard.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational ability, and the capacity to prioritise competing workloads effectively. You should be self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, and confident using your own initiative to meet business targets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential, along with a foundation-level Project Management qualification such as APM PFQ and a willingness to progress toward APM PMQ. Experience managing a portfolio of projects and delivering customer-facing solutions is required, with the ability to balance technical detail and clear communication.
