Are you an experienced Oncology Nurse looking to step away from the ward while continuing to deliver high-quality cancer care?
We’re recruiting a Chemotherapy Homecare Nurseto provide specialist treatment and support to patients in their own homes across Essex. This is a highly autonomous, patient-focused role where you’ll build meaningful relationships and support individuals throughout their treatment journey,without the pressures of acute shift environments.
The Role:
* Deliver oncology treatments in patients’ homes and community clinics
* Undertake blood tests, toxicity assessments and line care
* Administer IV chemotherapy, oral SACT support, pump disconnections, IM/SC injections
* Provide education, reassurance and clinical guidance to patients and families
* Manage your own caseload with full clinical support available
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse (RGN) with active NMC PIN
* Oncology qualification / SACT passport or equivalent
* Competent in cannulation and venepuncture
* Confident working independently in a community setting
* Full UK driving licence
Package:
* £44,574 salary per annum
* Fully expensed company car & fuel card or car allowance of £4,800 per annum
* 36 days annual leave
