Job Title: Area Support Officer - Kent
Reports to: Key Account Manager
Location: Kent Area
Job Type: Various Days / Nights / Weekends BH - 12 Hrs Shifts
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* SIA License:
* Must hold a valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license.
Previous Experience:
* At least 1-2 years' experience in a corporate security role or similar environment.
Health and Safety Training:
* Basic understanding of health and safety regulations, fire safety, and emergency procedures. Formal qualifications or certification is a plus.
* First Aid certification (desirable but not mandatory).
Key Skills and Competencies:
* Patrolling and Site Security
* Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure site safety and security.
* Identify and respond to security risks, hazards, and protocol breaches.
Operate alarm systems, CCTV, and other security technology to monitor activities.
* Break Covering and Flexibility
* Cover breaks and positions as needed, maintaining site security standards.
* Demonstrate flexibility and reliability in shift coverage.
* Incident Response and Reporting
* Respond effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches.
* Report incidents clearly and complete documentation promptly.
