Please note the work schedule is from Tuesday to Saturday A World of Rewards: Salary up to £52,000 ( Basic salary: £40,000-45,000/year plus an expected average annual service charge likely to be between £6,000 - £7,000). Dedicated to the pursuit of culinary excellence using the best of local British ingredients. We’ve quickly built a strong reputation for elegant flavours using seasonal-led ingredients, locally produced. Since opening, we’ve won an array of awards including ‘One to Watch’ at the National Restaurant Awards 2021. What will I be doing? Manage all aspects of the kitchen including operational, quality and administrative functions Manage the provision of food to Food and Beverage outlets and taking action where necessary to ensure compliance with current legislation Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner Ensure foods are of good quality and stored correctly Contribute to menu creation by responding and incorporating Guest feedback Ensure the consistent production of high quality food through all hotel food outlets Manage customer relations when necessary, in the absence of the Head Chef Ensure resources support the business needs through the effective management of working rotations Support brand standards through the training and assessment of the Team Manage the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organized, motivated Team Control costs without compromising standards, improving gross profit margins and other departmental and financial targets Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues Be environmentally aware What are we looking for? Aspires to achieve great things and can has ability to lead a team Experience in Michelin starred kitchens Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Passionate about food and fine dining Committed to delivering a high level of customer service Ability to work under pressure Intermediate food hygiene qualification Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situation It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Previous kitchen experience in similar role Passion for food Knowledge of current food trends Advance food hygiene qualification High level of IT proficiency Travel St James Park Tube station - District & Circle Line – (literally just across the road) Westminster Tube Station - Jubilee Line (4 mins walk) Victoria Station (6 mins walk) Waterloo Station – Mainline (10 mins walk)
