Home / Hybrid Working Consideration

Job Details
Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of a front-line statutory housing options provision to prevent homelessness and improve housing access to various tenures. This involves reviewing, monitoring, and evaluating service provision to ensure statutory obligations under homelessness legislation, along with other legal obligations, policies, and plans, are met.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
Educated to HND in Housing and/or hold the CIH Level Diploma in Housing, along with the HomePoint Level 2 certificate, with substantial housing/homelessness management experience within a social housing environment or equivalent management experience in delivering accommodation management or housing access services.

SSSC registration is essential. If appointed and not already a member of the relevant section of the SSSC Register, you will be required to apply for registration within 3 months of starting to ensure registration within 6 months.
PVG Membership
This post is a Regulated Role involving vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
All preferred candidates for posts with regulated work with these groups must become a PVG Scheme member or update their PVG Scheme membership before a formal employment offer is made by East Lothian Council.
