Business Development Manager
The Role: An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the UK's largest supplier of water filtration products. Established over 40 years ago, this profitable and forward-thinking business employs over 50 people and is renowned for its superb customer support and large stockholding, ensuring virtually all orders are despatched the same day.
As a Business Development Manager, you will sell the full range of water filtration products to hospitals, life science and biotechnology companies, universities, facilities management contractors and resellers. You will network within existing customers, identifying opportunities to develop new business across multiple departments. Managing a sales territory covering the northern half of the UK (Nottingham and Stafford northwards), you will spend a typical week visiting customers four days and working from home one day to book appointments and complete administration.
Requirements: To be considered for the Business Development Manager role:
· Experience selling products related to water treatment or selling to estates departments/facilities management companies (essential).
· Ability to network within identified customers and win new business opportunities.
· Willingness to spend occasional nights away from home.
· Full UK driving licence.

The Package for Business Development Manager:
· £40,000 - £55,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
· £8,000 bonus, paid quarterly, capped at £20,000.
· High spec electric company car.
