Heron Foods is looking for a Merchandising Manager to lead our Merchandising Team, helping to deliver new store openings and upgrades across our ever-growing estate. With a salary of £36,500, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the in-store experience for our customers.
This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of project managing merchandising activity from start to finish—working closely with our Store Development Manager and Space Planning Team to ensure stores open on time, to plan, and to the highest possible standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Merchandising Team to deliver accurate and timely new store openings and store upgrades.
Work with the Store Development Manager to plan and schedule store works in line with business needs.
Ensure store layouts and merchandising comply with health & safety requirements and company policies.
Maintain the highest standards of store presentation, layout, and merchandising.
Collaborate with Space Planners to confirm correct equipment is ordered or picked from stock.
Review and sign off CAD plans, suggesting any relevant changes to improve store performance.
Ensure all works are completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and to schedule.
We're looking for someone with:
Proven leadership experience, ideally within a retail or merchandising environment.
Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a drive for accuracy and high standards.
A flexible and proactive approach, with a strong ‘can-do' attitude.
The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to store sites across the UK.
