Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This role requires a commitment to improving patient well-being through evidence-based practices and a collaborative approach to care.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
* Provide medication management and monitor patient responses to treatments.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure holistic care.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
* Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in psychiatry to provide the best care possible.
Qualifications
* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
* Board certification in Psychiatry is preferred.
* Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in the state of employment.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience in various therapeutic modalities is a plus, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Pay: £50.00-£65.00 per hour
