Overview
We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Premises Manager to ensure our facilities are well-maintained and secure for our students and staff and lead our site team during an initial period of transition. As a Premises Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the functionality and aesthetic charm of our school premises, ensuring that our grounds and buildings are safe, welcoming, and conducive to learning.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the school premises are secure and well-maintained, including supervising security systems and contractors.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive buildings maintenance programme.
* Be familiar with the DfE Good Estate Management in School
* Liaise with the Business Manager and external contractors for maintenance and development projects.
* Oversee the health and safety measures on site, ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Support the site team in managing daily operations and ensuring a clean, safe environment for all.

Qualifications
* Proven experience in security, facilities, site or maintenance role.
* Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to maintain and oversee facilities management plans.
* Experience of managing or supervising a small team.
* Excellent record-keeping skills and administrative proficiency.
* Basic DIY abilities and knowledge of building services.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate effectively to students and staff.
* A proactive and flexible 'can do' attitude.
