Salary: £65,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: Mid-to-senior level engineer with Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience with N-Central RMM is essential Proficient in PowerShell Familiarity with API integrations and RESTful interfaces Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure Desirable: knowledge of Ansible Desirable: exposure to Power BI or data warehousing Responsibilities: Own the discovery, design, build, and ongoing management of automation solutions Develop, optimise, and maintain N-Central RMM policies, scripts, monitoring templates, and workflows Build automation and integrations across Halo PSA, Microsoft 365, Azure, and SOC tooling Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to reduce manual workload across technical teams Improve monitoring thresholds, alerting standards, and automated responses across RMM and SOC environments Support SOC alert optimisation, including automated enrichment and routing Build and maintain strong documentation and automation standards Create a centralised automation library to ensure repeatability and scalability Collaborate with internal teams to proactively identify automation opportunities Technologies: API Ansible Azure Support Microsoft 365 Power BI PowerShell Office 365 Cloud More: We are a well-established and forward-thinking Managed Service Provider (MSP) located in Preston, UK, offering a hybrid work model (2-3 days onsite).
