Dealership Accountant – Bristol & Newport (Dual site) - Work from Home
Salary: Basic Up to £48,000, OTE £52,000
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, NO WEEKENDS
Our client is seeking a fully trained Dealership Accountant to join their already successful motor trade team working within a busy commercial dealer. You need to be a team player, able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative.
Experience in a Motor-trade Dealership Accounts position within the automotive industry is preferable.
As part of our client's accounts team you will be responsible for:-
* To perform month end tasks (including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations) within deadlines set
* To chase payments, resolving queries, posting daily banking and other credit control duties
* To assist with scanning invoices, paying suppliers, reconciling supplier statements and posting daily payments
* To keep filing up-to-date
* General office duties
* Ad-hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will be:-
* Possess a calm and even temperament
* Be able to work as part of a team
* Be approachable, enthusiastic and willing to learn
* Have a flexible attitude
* Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues across all departments
* To work accurately and efficiently to meet targets and deadlines
* Experience administrator with previous experience within accounts
* Good Kerridge, Excel and IT skills
