Summary of the role The position holder is responsible for the account management & direct sales responsibility for all packaging top customers within the area South West England Role and Responsibilities Maintain all packaging customers within designated territory with aim to grow revenue year on year as per the company NBS guidelines & expectations Increase system population through pro-active value selling activities within new, existing & competitive accounts Work to recapitalize existing Nordson installed base through pro-active focus on customers with inefficient & obsolete equipment Introduce, promote & up-sell latest range of Nordson equipment to all customers Develop Aftermarket business with aim to grow spare parts revenue stream including maintenance contracts, training & engineering work Gain firm knowledge of territory through courtesy calls & liaison with Engineering team Generate strong working relationships with adhesive suppliers & transfer knowledge Skills and Qualifications Good all round education with knowledge of engineering, sales & marketing Strong commercial & sales skills with ability to communicate with customers at all levels Valid clean driving license Fluent English language skills are mandatory Capable of working independently using own initiative or be a member of a team Ability to be flexible in day to day duties & willing to stay away overnight where required Travel Yes, 80% of the time, only within southern England (focus Bristol area) Benefits We offer a flexible work schedule, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and development.
