About the role: We are seeking a Tax Manager to support our Head of Direct Tax in ensuring compliance with tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work within a small, ambitious team in an exciting and evolving market. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills who can manage the company's tax risks, provide general tax advice, and organize tax affairs efficiently across jurisdictions. Role Responsibilities: Prepare and review GB & Ireland Corporation Tax computations and partnership returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax legislation Provide UK tax technical expertise, particularly in areas such as Corporate Interest Restrictions (CIR) and derivatives Manage tax accounting and reporting, including group reporting, FRS 101 entity tax disclosures, and tax reconciliations Oversee Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) reporting and conduct in-year testing across various tax areas Partner with business stakeholders to explain complex tax technical issues and apply tax advice in practical business contexts Contribute to specialized tax areas including R&D tax credits, Capital Allowances, and Transfer Pricing as needed Experience and Key Attributes: ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualification is essential Post-qualification experience in industry or equivalent experience working with medium/large businesses Comprehensive UK tax technical knowledge with understanding of Irish tax beneficial but not essential Strong experience in tax accounting and reporting under IFRS and local GAAP frameworks Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to both internal and external deadlines Outstanding communication skills to effectively represent the tax function internally across business units and externally with advisors, HMRC, and auditors Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a proactive, self-motivated approach to work Degree qualification or CTA Apprenticeship Application Process: We read applications continuously, and vacancies may be filled anytime, so please apply as early as possible.
