Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Quantity Surveyor based in Rochester. The Junior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the costs of our load & haul projects from inception to completion. Day-to-day tasks include preparing bills of quantities (BOQs), cost planning, cost control, cost management, and cost reporting. The individual will ensure that project costs are accurately monitored and controlled while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
* Skills in Cost Control and Cost Management
* Proficiency in preparing BOQs and Cost Planning
* Experience in Cost Reporting
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
* Experience in the quarrying sector is a plus
