In this pivotal role, you will support our commercial team as they engage with some of our biggest customers.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with our Commercial Account Managers to ensure our existing customers are well taken care of. Your insights and analyses will play a crucial role in strategic planning and decision-making. Get ready to dive into forecasting, customer reports, and monthly review packs that provide essential insights!
What You'll Be Doing:
* Conduct weekly and monthly forecasting, analyzing key variances.
* Ensure the month-end process is completed in line with internal deadlines.
* Prepare Financial Evaluations to support business decisions.
* Guarantee that customer-facing reports are accurate and timely.
* Manage customer contracts to ensure alignment with Key Business Assumptions.
* Provide financial information to Corporate Account Managers for enhanced customer performance understanding.
* Oversee contracted customer rebate management.
* Prepare balance sheets and support in producing Business Unit Review Packs.
* Act as a central point of contact for internal and external customers.
* Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support the Senior Finance Business Partner and step in when needed.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
We’re looking for a recently qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) who is currently thriving as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant, or Finance Analyst. If you’re a finalist with finance partnering experience in a relevant role, we want to hear from you!
To succeed in this role, you should:
* Drive performance through insightful analysis.
* Possess strong Excel skills, including financial analysis and modeling experience.
* Be self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to positively influence key stakeholders.
* Enjoy working in a commercial setting and be eager to broaden your finance business partnering skills.
Working Conditions:
This position offers a hybrid working contract, requiring at least one day per week in our Ashford office, along with ad-hoc face-to-face meetings as needed.
