Due to staff progression, were delighted to be recruiting a full-time Patient Services Support Officer to join our friendly and supportive team at Bridge of Allan Health Centre.
Were a busy GP practice set in the lovely spa town of Bridge of Allan, caring for over 7,000 patients. Our team is friendly, supportive and experienced, and includes 5 GP Partners, 1 GP Retainer, GP Trainees, Practice Management, a skilled administration team, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice and Mental Health Nurses, a Pharmacy Team, Advanced Physio Practitioners, with close links to District Nurses and Health Visitors. We genuinely value teamwork and kindness and aim to create a positive place to work for everyone.
About the role
This is a varied, patientfacing role at the heart of the practice. Youll play an important part in supporting our patients and helping the wider clinical and administrative team run smoothly.
1. 37.5 hours per week

General Practice can be busy, but its also incredibly rewarding. Were looking for someone who is friendly, organised and enjoys helping people.
Youll ideally be someone who:
Has a warm, confident and professional telephone manner
Communicates clearly and kindly with patients and colleagues
Stays calm under pressure and can juggle different tasks
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Is comfortable using IT, including Microsoft Office
Experience that would be helpful (but not essential):
Previous work in a patientfacing or healthcare role
Experience using NHS systems such as Vision and Docman
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
