We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker to support our brand new client at his family home in St Leonards area of Hastings.
Meet the client:
Our client is a happy go lucky 15 year old teenage boy who has autism, ADHD, anxiety and OCD and challenging behaviour. We are looking for outgoing, bubbly, enthusiastic and spontaneous support workers to take him out and about as he likes to go on adventures and is far happier when doing physical activities.
When you'll be working:
* Week 1 – Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 12pm-4pm & Saturday/Sunday – 10am-4pm
* Week 2 – Tuesday, Thursday – 12pm-4pm & Saturday/Sunday – 10am-4pm
What you'll be doing:
This role is to support a 15 year old teenage boy with additional health needs in his family home and out in the community. This will involve supporting him with medication, personal care, managing challenging behaviour and building a good rapport in your communications with him. You will also take him out and about on adventures.
All shifts will be double ups, so there will always be two support workers on shift together.
Ideal candidates will have experience with autism and challenging behaviour.
As part of the role is to drive the client to access the community, you must hold a drivers licence and have a car.
