We have a new, dynamic role as a Maintenance Engineer at our site in Milton Keynes. Working as part of a small team you will be servicing, maintaining and repairing, Bar Saw, CNC Machines & other types of machinery. You will also be involved with general building, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday -Flexible between the hours of 8am-6pm.
Key Responsibilities
Main Accountabilities:
* All aspects service repair of Bar Saw, CNC & other types of machinery including set up and operation of various machines
* Raising all maintenance issues and accurately recording of all details on the computer system
* Promote continuous improvement processes to minimise downtime & productivity in all operational processes.
* Fault finding
* Ensure conformance to Health and Safety operating regulations for employees, visitors and self whilst engaged on company business.
* Assisting contractors with related duties
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias, due to the presence of electrical cabinets on our machinery that require ongoing maintenance and repair.
Essential:
* Electrical / Mechanical qualification level 3 or Machine maintenance qualification or equivalent
* Experience of reading technical, mechanical, electrical drawings
* Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
* Self-motivated, reliant, diligent, analytical and numerate.
* PC Literate.
* The ability to understand and use all types of hand tools & testing equipment equipm
Desirable:
* Formal engineering qualification or engineering apprenticeship
* Understanding and operating control systems
* Ability to use all relevant areas of manufacturing computer based control system and all its supporting requirements
* Machine Maintenance skills applicable to the type of equipment operated
* A working knowledge of computer windows based applications
* IPAF
