We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Burns & Plastics and Hand Therapy team at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Bucks healthcare NHS Trust.
Burns & Plastics Team
* Burns & Plastics -Based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital
* Has national network links for Teaching, training & development
* Complex hand treatment / hand therapy
* Physiotherapists work closely with Occupational Therapist in the hand Therapy clinic
Role Description
This role will suit someone who is motivated, flexible and hard-working, and keen to support patients to achieve their potential in rehabilitation. There is a strong emphasis on staff development with support from Band 7 team leads .
The post involves weekend working as part of the therapy weekend service.
Responsibilities
* Perform assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, and provide advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non-professionals.
* Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
* Participate in continuing professional and service development, and contribute to organisational objectives.
