We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Engineer to join our data capture and validation laboratory based in Cambridge. In this role, you will collaborate closely with machine learning and algorithms teams to develop automated processes for validating new product features.
This is a hands-on position involving robotics, camera systems, and lighting equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with robotics or 3D geometry, supported by strong software engineering skills. An interest in machine learning, computer vision, or software quality assurance is highly desirable.
This is a full-time, on-site role, and candidates must be able to work from our Cambridge office.
Key Qualifications
1. Master’s degree (or equivalent) in an engineering-related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience, ideally within software or robotics.
3. Proven expertise in developing autonomous robotic solutions.
4. Strong understanding of 3D geometry.
5. Exceptional software engineering skills.
6. Interest in machine learning or computer graphics is advantageous.
7. Comfortable with hands-on, practical work in a laboratory environment.
