Home Care Assistant
Location: Buxton and surrounding areas
Salary: £15 per hour mileage paid with 40p per mile plus Bank holiday enhanced payment
Hours: Full and Part Time hours available

The Role
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to the patients in their own homes.
This position requires traveling in the High Peak area so a driving license and access to your own car is mandatory.
Duties
Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviours to the appropriate healthcare staff.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Document patient care activities accurately using their app.
Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills and Qualifications
Driver and access to a car mandatory- they pay your mileage.
Previous experience in home care or a care home setting (Desirablebut not essential - full training is offered)
Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the role.
