Teaching Assistant – Full-Time, Temporary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner primary schools in Daventry on a full-time, temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who loves working as part of a team, is proactive, and brings a positive attitude to the classroom.

About the role:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
* Assist the class teacher with lesson planning and classroom activities
* Support pupils with additional learning or emotional needs
* Promote positive behaviour and engagement in line with school policies

About you:
* Caring, patient, and enthusiastic in your approach
* Committed to supporting children and young people
* Confident communicator who works well within a team
* Holds GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above), or equivalent
* Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential

* Enhanced DBS check (Update Service preferred – assistance provided)
* Two professional references from the last 24 months
* Overseas Police Check where applicable
* Permanent UK residency required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
