Compensation: £45,000 - £60,000 per year.

Job Details
As a Senior Building Surveyor you will manage client relationships, mentor junior staff and contribute to the strategic growth of the Building Surveying team. The role demands commercial acumen, technical expertise and a passion for value‑driven solutions.
What you will do
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, and identify new business opportunities while supporting and expanding existing accounts.
* Prepare and submit high‑quality tender submissions, demonstrating strategic thinking and technical expertise.
* Provide professional advice and support to Partners and the wider team, helping resolve client challenges and deliver excellent service.
* Mentor and supervise graduate surveyors, managing workloads and overseeing project delivery.
* Support the training and development of colleagues, sharing technical knowledge and encouraging professional growth.
* Contribute to team performance and project success through regular progress updates, participation in team meetings, and collaboration on fee planning.
* Ensure compliance with RICS CPD requirements, company policies and industry standards including QA, environmental, health & safety and document management systems.
Who you are
* Ideally MRICS status with minimum 3 years PQE.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills for client interaction.
* Professional dedication, enthusiasm, flexible and adaptable to work.
* Resilient and capable of performing under pressure in a high‑volume, demanding environment.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Self‑driven, highly motivated, team player, thriving both independently and collaboratively.
* Access to own vehicle and a clean driving licence for site visits.
