We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major earthworks and cut and fill infrastructure package based in Liverpool. This is a long-term opportunity on a significant earthworks programme scheduled to run for approximately two years, with works commencing 23rd March. This role is ideal for a Sub Agent with strong experience delivering large-scale earthworks, bulk excavation, and cut and fill operations within civil engineering projects. The Role The successful Sub Agent will play a key role in managing sections of the earthworks package, supporting the delivery team to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget. You will be responsible for coordinating site operations across significant earthworks activities including cut and fill, haul roads, and bulk material movement. Key Responsibilities Managing day-to-day site operations across the earthworks package Supporting the Agent and Project Manager in delivering major earthworks works Overseeing subcontractors involved in cut and fill and bulk earthworks activities Ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are achieved Reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and earthworks methodology Monitoring progress across the earthworks programme and reporting updates Managing engineering teams and site supervisors working on the earthworks scope Requirements Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on major civil engineering projects Strong background delivering large-scale earthworks packages Experience with cut and fill operations and bulk earthworks logistics Excellent understanding of site management and earthworks sequencing Strong communication and leadership skills CSCS and relevant civil engineering qualifications preferred Details Location: Liverpool Role: Sub Agent – Earthworks Package Start Date: 23rd March Duration: Approximately 2 years Rate: £350 – £450 per day If you are a Sub Agent with strong earthworks experience looking to join a major long-term infrastructure project, please apply or contact me directly for more information.
