Your new role
As a Multi‑Skilled Operative (Plumbing bias), you will deliver a consistently high standard of repairs and maintenance across residential properties andmunal areas. You’ll carry out a broad range of plumbing, carpentry and general building tasks, working efficiently andpleting jobs right first time wherever possible.
You’ll be customer‑facing in this role, acting as a professional ambassador for the organisation, keeping residents informed and ensuring all work ispleted safely,pliantly and to a high standard. You’ll also take part in an out‑of‑hours emergency call‑out rota and work closely with other trades to deliver a responsive repairs service.
What you'll need to succeed
1. NVQ Level 2 or above (or time‑served experience) in plumbing, carpentry or a related trade
2. Proven experience carrying out plumbing repairs along with additional trade skills
3. The ability to work across a variety of properties and repair types
4. A strong focus on customer service and first‑time fix
5. Good understanding of health & safety, risk assessments and safe working practices
6. Confidence using smartphones or tablets to log jobs, timesheets and materials
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a wider trade team
8. A full, clean UK driving licence
9. Physical capability to carry out a hands‑on, mobile role
