A successful and growing organisation is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its finance team in Slough. This is a broad role offering responsibility across reporting, analysis, budgeting, and business partnering, with exposure to technical accounting requirements including IFRS 16. Key responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting. Lead month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and financial review. Deliver variance analysis and provide clear commentary on financial performance to support decision-making. Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the business, working closely with budget holders and operational stakeholders. Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, audit preparation, and year-end reporting requirements. Support accounting and reporting requirements relating to IFRS 16, including lease accounting, reconciliations, and process improvement where required. Contribute to continuous improvement across financial controls, reporting accuracy, and finance processes. Candidate profile: Fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) Previous experience in a Management Accountant role with strong month-end and reporting knowledge. Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Experience with IFRS 16 and lease accounting would be highly advantageous. Strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders. Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
