Salary bandings: The below working patterns are for Monday to Friday working days.
* Part time - £18,000 – 24 working hours per week (8-hour day, 3 days per week)
* Part time - £24,000 – 32 working hours per week (8-hour day, 4 days per week)
* Full time - £30,000 – 40 working hours per week (8-hour day, 5 days per week)
The above also include an additional commission structure, to be discussed at interview stage.

As the company expands, they are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to help drive lead generation and business development which will in turn support Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, and additional distribution hubs in the surrounding areas.
Role overview:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to join the remote sales team. This full-time, home-based role will focus on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities across the North West region, supporting Sales Managers by booking qualified appointments.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding or wider logistics industry, and should be comfortable with the terminology commonly used in shipping and export operations. (No expectation to be office-based, other than an initial visit for onboarding).
Key responsibilities:
* Sourcing new leads via daily outbound cold calls to UK exporters, introducing freight forwarding services.
* Accurately create and manage new leads and log all interactions / activity in Cargowise CRM.
* Qualify prospects and pass quality leads to Sales Managers for follow-up and pricing.
* Utilise regional knowledge of the Northwest, coupled with ability to make introductions and build rapport with clients – assisting to create inroads with key contacts at local businesses.
* Achieve and adhere to weekly KPIs; including call volumes, leads generated, appointments booked, and conversion rates.
* Participate in daily team huddles and weekly pipeline reviews.
* Maintain and increase working knowledge of Incoterms, shipping practices, and freight forwarding industry trends.
Requirements
* Knowledge or network of manufacturing business within the Northwest market.
* Proven experience in sales / lead generation (logistics / freight forwarding focus).
* Understanding of logistics or freight industry terminologies and trends.
* Preferred basic understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
* Experience with CRM systems; Cargowise experience is a strong advantage.
* Strong communication skills with a confident and professional phone manner.
Compensation & Benefits
* Competitive base salary: £18,000 - £24,000 per annum (pro rata salary based on £30,000 full time p/a) + Commission structure (to be discussed at interview stage).
